What is a Weblog?
A Weblog(or Blog) is a web-based publishing system that helps you publish
to the web instantly – whenever you need it. It is a personal diary that you
can reflect in, share views, make notes and contribute to your community at
large.The Weblog, has a broad range of uses and is available to support the
campus academic, research and public service goals.
Some of these goals and or groups include:
- Professors and students informally following a particular topic of study or interests
- Faculty, staff and others in departmental, research-group or campus community social organizations
What you can do with Weblog:
- Manage, update blogs, journals and frequently-updated website content
- Departments and Organizations can do nanopublishing and create knowledge bases
