The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, April 24 at noon (ET), entitled “Education Renovation: Overhauling Undergraduate STEM Programs”.
Join panelists Norman Fortenberry, executive director of the American Society for Engineering Education; David Lawrie, Science 100 coordinator at the University of Alberta; Michelle Withers, assistant professor of the Department of Biology, West Virginia University; and Don Langenberg, chancellor emeritus of the University System of Maryland, as they show how institutions of higher education are reshaping their STEM education programs to attract, retain, and prepare students for careers in STEM fields.
Panelists will focus on three key areas: interdisciplinary course work, critical thinking, and real-world experience.
The live webinar is free to all. An archived version of the webinar will be available for on-demand viewing by AAAS members on MemberCentral within 48 hours of the event.
