My assistant Peyman Karimian found a comprehensive review of building evacuation models done by NIST in 2005. The report is Technical Note 1471, by Erica D. Kuligowski and Richard D. Peacock. The report describes 30 computer models, including 13 that (at that time) were available to the public. It includes tables with lists of the models and their features. The report includes a few pages on each model, including its purpose, its assumptions, and its approach.
The report also has a link to an online list of evacuation models (also known as egress models) maintained by Combustion Science & Engineering in Columbia, Maryland.
