Rachel Abbey, my collaborator at the Montgomery County, Maryland, Advanced Practice Center for Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response, and I will be giving a presentation about Preparing for Emergencies and Every Day: Planning with Computer Models to the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Training Collaborative (PHEPTC) on July 22, 2009.

According to its charter, “the purpose of the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Training Collaborative (PHEPTC) is to enhance communication, information sharing, and standards of practice among PH emergency preparedness trainers across the nation.” PHEPTC is hosted by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
