The National Security Education Program awards David L. Boren Scholarships for undergraduates and Fellowships for graduate students to approximately 200 U.S. students. As you may know, the Boren Awards provide funding to American students who are pursuing international and language study in world regions critical to U.S. interests (including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East).
Boren Scholarship and Fellowship applications are now available on website at www.borenawards.org
The deadline for applications for the Boren Scholarships is February 11, 2009 and the deadline for applications for the Boren Fellowships is January 29, 2009.
