The 2017 statewide wheat trials are now published online at: http://psla.umd.edu/extension/extension-project-pages/small-grains-maryland. We had over 12 bushel per acre yield difference between the top and the bottom of the population. Of particular importance is the fusarium head blight nursery results. Please consider using resistant varieties if you do not have the ability to spray fungicide. Approximately 46% of DON is due to inherit resistance bred into resistant wheat varieties.
