Various fungal pathogens can infect seedling soybeans and cause disease, especially beans planted early into cool and/or wet soils. Fungicide seed treatments have varying levels of efficacy against these pathogens, so it is important that your seed is treated with the correct chemical for the pathogens you are trying to manage in your field. The table below can be used to compare fungicide seed treatment efficacy against various soilborne pathogens of soybean. Note that fungicide seed treatments will provide about 2-4 weeks of protection.
