  1. Was the 1890 portrait of Bledsoe taken by photographer S. W. Watrous? (It looks like the same funky chair Watrous used in many of his Visalia studio photos)

      That’s an interesting thought. That photo is from a family collection, and I don’t think there is any annotation on it other than identifying it as JW Bledsoe.
