Are you interested in running for public office one day? Do you want to grow in your leadership skills? Do you want to network with amazing elected women across Maryland and UMD?

Elect Her is for you!

On October 4th, 2023 from 5-8pm in the Stamp Grand Ballroom Lounge, UMD iGNiTE’s in collaboration with Running Start will be hosting “Elect Her”.

This is going to be an engaging, educational, inspiring, and fun workshop for all attendees. In short, this event will be a series of training, panelists, and activities to teach attendees how to run for leadership positions and public office and why it’s so important.

We will have free food, opportunities to network with elected officials across Maryland (Mayors, School Board members, and Council Members), and opportunities to meet like-minded people at UMD.
