The Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Services (GOCPYVS) seeks candidates for the Spring 2024 internship program. We are seeking talented students with an interest in criminal justice and public service. GOCPYVS is Maryland’s one-stop shop for resources to improve public safety.
Internship Dates: January 17, 2024 through May 07, 2024. Up to 16 hours per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in one of the following college degree programs: Criminal Justice, Social Sciences, or a related degree.
Must be a Junior or higher-level student (i.e., a minimum of 60 credit hours obtained).
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a demonstrated interest in criminal justice-related subjects.
- Have a strong desire to engage and learn about the criminal justice system and public safety.
- Possess excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
