On February 12, 2024, some students received an email regarding the Student Experience & Environment Survey (SEES). If so, you are part of a group of 10,000 undergraduate students that were randomly selected to participate in this important survey. The SEES is administered by the Office of Civil Rights & Sexual Misconduct in partnership with the School of Public Health (SPH).

We encourage you set aside 15 minutes to participate on the SEES as the data from this survey are used to inform our campus’ response to sexual assault intervention and prevention efforts. As a thank you for participating, a $10 Terrapin Express credit will be given to the first 3,000 students who complete the survey.

The OCRSM, in partnership with SGA, created a variety of short, informational videos that summarize the SEES, how to take the survey if you were selected, and why other students are taking the survey. The videos can be accessed below via the included links.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact sees@umd.edu
