Less than a month left to apply for the summer 2025 Future Leaders in Public Service Internship Program!
Applications for the summer 2025 program are due by Nov. 22, 2024.
The Future Leaders in Public Service Internship Program welcomes students of all majors to gain professional experience in the federal government. This internship program includes:
- A 10-12 week in-person or virtual internship at a federal agency.
- Stipend funding.
- Professional development and networking events.
Applicants can select up to two preferred career tracks that align most closely with their interests and skills:
- Data Science
- Government Contracting and Acquisition
- Integrated Prevention
- Liberal Arts
- Public Administration
- Public Interest Technology and AI
- Science, Mathematics, and Engineering
Program Eligibility:
- U.S. citizens at the time of application submission.
- Currently enrolled at an accredited educational institution in an undergraduate or graduate program for the entire 2024-2025 academic year. Undergraduates must be rising second-year students/sophomores and above.
- Students with an expected graduation of May/June 2025 are also eligible to apply.
- Students with a graduation date of December 2024 are not eligible for the Summer 2025 program.
- Able to demonstrate superior academic achievement and have a GPA above 2.5.
- Students admitted to the program must successfully complete a background check before beginning the internship in June 2025.
