Applications are now open and being accepted through March 1 for our Summer 2025 cycle (May-August) of the Demetrios G. Papademetriou Young Scholars program.
MPI offers substantive internships, with a stipend, on our research and communications teams. Research interns have the opportunity to work within one of the following program areas:
- U.S. immigration
- International migration
- U.S. immigrant integration
- Latin America and the Caribbean
In these roles, interns will support ongoing program activities and engage in research, policy analysis, and other tasks that contribute to our work. Communications interns will gain hands-on experience in media tracking, digital media content and design, event support, and more.
Our Young Scholars program is designed to provide an immersive learning experience for the next generation of leaders in migration analysis, public policy, and communications through direct interaction with MPI staff, engaging work, networking opportunities, and a robust professional development program.
Internships are available in both in-person (D.C.) and remote formats. Remote internships do not require U.S. work authorization.
