First-Gen Week is a special time to celebrate and uplift our first-generation students across campus. Hosted by the First-Generation Student Association (FGSA), this week is filled with events designed to support our first-gen student community and honor their unique experiences.
This year, First-Gen Week will take place from November 3rd to 7th, leading up to National First-Gen Celebration Day on November 8th. We are looking for dedicated students to join the planning committee and help make this week a success! By completing this form, you can express your interest in playing a key role in organizing and executing an incredible week of activities.
Committee Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm event ideas and activities for First-Gen Week
- Plan events and create detailed itineraries for smooth execution
- Fine-tune event preparations, ensuring all materials and logistics are covered
- Assist with event set-up and clean-up throughout the week
Committee meetings will be held biweekly starting September 2025 to ensure smooth coordination and collaboration among all team members.
