Learn Persian this summer at the UMD Summer Language Institute! Get an entire year’s worth of language learning through classes, cultural activities, field trips, and individualized tutoring and conversation practice while earning 12 UMD credits.

Spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Persian (or Farsi) is a critical language on the global stage today, and having proficiency in this language can make you more competitive for jobs with the State Department, intelligence agencies, non-profits, and beyond!
