All UMD students are welcome to attend the Fall Career & Internship fair, an annual event showcasing local, regional, and national employers all seeking to hire Terps! This is our largest recruiting event of the semester.

Tips for Attending the Event 

1. Determine a goal for attending (e.g. explore a career field, gain tips for applying, etc.) and develop questions to ask. 
2. Prepare your resume and craft a concise self-introduction.

Transportation & Parking Options:

🚶 Walking Route from Campus: Use the UMD Campus Map to find the safest walking path to the venue from anywhere on campus. The Hotel at UMD is a 12-minute walk from campus and a 20-minute walk from the College Park-UMD Metro station.

🚌 Public Transportation (Shuttle-UM): Multiple Shuttle-UM routes have stops near The Hotel at UMD. Download the UMD-supported Transit App for real-time Shuttle-UM schedules and the best route options.

🚌 University Career Center Sponsored Shuttle:

• Run time – 10:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. 
• Schedule: Continuous loop between Stamp Student Union Lane Garage Entrance & The Hotel at UMD Lobby
• Career Fair Shuttle is first come first served (Use of Shuttle-UM Routes encouraged)

🚗 Driving & Discounted Parking: Students attending FCIF 2025 can park in The Hotel at the UMD parking garage for a discounted daily rate of $10. Discount code provided to attendees on-site after check-in.
