Explore Careers in the Environment, Sustainability, and GIS Fields
Attend this recruiting and networking event to meet employers from public agencies, private companies, and non-profit organizations. These employers are seeking talented candidates for both internship and full-time opportunities in GIS, conservation, sustainability, environmental policy, and environmental research.
All UMD students, alumni, and degree levels are welcome! This event will be especially valuable for those studying or interested in Geography, Geospatial Data Science, Environmental Science and Policy, Remote Sensing, and Environmental Science and Technology.
Tips for Attending the Event
- Determine a goal for attending (e.g. explore a career field, gain tips for applying, etc.) and develop questions to ask.
- Prepare your resume and craft a concise self-introduction.
- Dress to impress with these ideas and tips.

Suggested Attire: Business Casual, but no worries if you’re coming straight from class; jeans and a T-shirt are totally fine! We’d rather you stop by than miss out.
