You’re invited to the annual BSU-UMD Social Justice Alliance Workshop on Friday, October 25th in 2202 Van Munching Hall on UMD’s campus from 10am-3pm. The purpose of this gathering space is to foster a creative and collaborative spirit among and between Bowie State University and the University of Maryland, by cultivating an environment where differences are honored. Throughout the day we hope to facilitate an inclusive community that supports the interruption of oppressive patterns, individual and collective responsibility, power sharing across marginalized and privileged identities, and LOVE. This is an interactive workshop meant to spark dialogue, collaboration and understanding.
