The Office of Student Engagement and the Transfer Mentorship Program is excited to highlight HESI310: Transfer2Terp (T2T). This 3-credit upper-level course is designed to help transfer students build on their strengths and make a strong start at the University of Maryland!
Through Transfer2Terp, students will:
- Identify and apply their talents and strengths through reflection, dialogue, and experiential learning.
- Use models and theories to understand the transfer student experience and collaborate with their peers.
- Connect with the Adele H. Stamp Student Union, Center for Campus Life, and other campus resources to expand their academic, social, and professional networks.
New for the Spring 2026 Semester:
- A peer mentorship program, pairing T2T students with experienced transfer Terps to support a smoother transition.
- Two course sections available to offer more scheduling flexibility:
- Mondays & Wednesdays, 3:30pm–4:45pm
- Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11:00am–12:15pm
Students who are interested can email tocsl@umd.edu with their UID and the institution from which they transferred to request enrollment permission.
