In a previous blog post, I said I was confused by the “sheer curation” definition given in the Wikipedia article on “Digital Curation.” Dallas’s explanation makes a lot more sense—”allowing curation processes to be performed at the moment of data creation or capture.” This is something we’ve talked about trying to incorporate with Joe’s. I think it would be useful to observe the student’s process and see at what point (moment of creation, or end of the semester) it would make the most sense to incorporate this.
