BSOS Dean’s Student Advisory Council Graduate Panel

DSAC is hosting a Graduate Student Panel called Graduate School Unfiltered where current BSOS graduate students can give undergraduates insight into the graduate programs, the application process, and important things to know before attending graduate school.

Are you considering graduate school? Get the inside scoop from a panel of BSOS graduate students about their experiences with the application process, coursework, and more! Food and drink will be provided and RSVP through the Google form link!

The event will be October 23rd from 5:30-7PM in the Juan Ramon Jimenez Room in Stamp. I’ve attached a flyer and a link to the RSVP form.

Attention Current ENSP Undergrads!

ENSPire’s October Advising Event is HERE!

The ENSPire Student Advisory Board is excited to host an October Advising event to help YOU (yes you!) with planning your upcoming spring (and beyond). Come ask questions about what to take next semester, how to plan out your next four years, how to study abroad, or just how to manage your schedule. ENSPire wants to help you feel prepared going into your advising appointments, to make sure you are ready for upcoming Spring registration.

Come ask questions, eat candy, and meet your ENSPire board! We are here to help you in any way that we can. We want you to feel confident with your schedules moving forward, and make sure you graduate with the right classes and credits!

The event is scheduled to take place in the Plant Science Building, Room 1140, from 6:00 pm to 8 pm on October 28th, 2024.

Make sure to sign up using this form! Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to gain valuable insights for your post-undergraduate journey!

See you there!

Oct 26th-Good Neighbor Day

The annual Good Neighbor Day is coming up on October 26th from 8:30am-12pm, and there are several projects seeking volunteers.  This is a great opportunity to give back, have fun, and do some good. There are various types of community projects for you to participate in.

Please go online to see all of the projects seeking volunteers.

 Good Neighbor Day

And if you are interested in volunteering as one of the “Welcome Crew” who will be positioned at the various project sites, you will be tasked with ensuring that the event runs smoothly. Welcome Crew volunteers will help with check-in, distribute t-shirts, liaise with the safety call center if needed, and answer general questions. Welcome Crew members are expected to arrive at 7:30 a.m to ensure they are set up and ready for when project volunteers start arriving. If this role is of interest, please email Josanne Francis at francisj@umd.edu.
