Meet the Speakers

Lydia Troup
Solution Engineer, Nonprofit Sector – Esri
Lydia supports nonprofit organizations in leveraging GIS to advance their missions, from improving volunteer coordination to enhancing outreach and fundraising. She holds a degree in Data Science and Spatial Data Analytics from William & Mary. Outside of her GIS work, Lydia enjoys biking, climbing, yoga, and volunteering with a local nonprofit.

Topic: Unlocking the Power of GeoAI
Lydia will explore how GIS, when combined with artificial intelligence, transforms how organizations analyze complex systems and massive datasets. Esri’s GeoAI framework integrates AI models, deep learning, and large language models to automate workflows, enhance predictive analytics, and optimize operational performance.

Katie Weintraub
Solution Engineer, Defense & Intelligence – Esri
Katie is a seasoned geospatial analyst with a B.A. in Geography and a minor in GIS from George Mason University. Prior to Esri, she worked in defense contracting, applying geospatial insights to mission areas such as CWMD and CBRNE non-proliferation. She enjoys hiking, rowing, and spending time outdoors.

Topic: Big Data and Spatial Intelligence
Katie will present on the role of Big Data in geospatial analytics. Using tools like ArcGIS GeoAnalytics Engine, analysts can process and visualize large-scale spatial data using Apache Spark—enabling faster workflows, strategic decision-making, and uncovering patterns across industries.

This session is a great opportunity to learn how GIS is evolving with AI and Big Data to meet real-world challenges. We hope to see you there!
