Internal Communications Intern (GMC)
The intern will contribute creative ideas and support the development and execution of key projects and campaigns, including supporting the launch of a new intranet homepage, the rollout of refreshed branding, and high-profile systems changes including TNC’s migration to Workday ERP. Additionally, they will help maintain and update content on internal communication platforms, including the company intranet and employee portals. The intern will assist in writing and editing materials such as newsletters, announcements, and news articles that will be distributed to staff.
Cause Marketing & Brand Partnerships Intern (NA Marketing)
The Intern will be responsible for supporting the Cause Marketing and Brand Partnerships team by conducting research on corporate brands and professional sports leagues/teams that could help TNC drive revenue from the sports marketing sector while engaging key/priority audiences.
The Cause Marketing & Brand Partnerships Intern will also play a key role in providing new perspectives and insights on existing partner campaigns, activations, creative, and will support our current sports marketing initiative.
Marketing Analytics Intern (BSO)
The Intern will be responsible for supporting the Data Intelligence and Analytics team by conducting 1-2 large analyses that the wider Marketing and Communications (MAC) division can use to inform and improve their marketing efforts. They will analyze marketing data across multiple channels using multiple tools and ultimately deliver an insightful narrative that includes actionable insights. Additionally, they will help support the analytics teams’ day-to-day deliverables and contribute their perspective and feedback to team discussions and projects.
Video Intern (Storytelling)
The Intern will work with the video team on production support, including footage and music research for video projects, story research, and fact-checking. Reporting to the Producer/Editor, their primary role will be helping with the management of our video library, identifying best footage and creating curated packages of b-roll. By the end of the internship, they will have created packages based on defined conservation topics. Depending on their skills and our project roster, they may have the opportunity to film and edit footage.
Social Media Content Intern (Storytelling)
The Social Media Content Intern will be responsible for supporting the organic social media team with the creation of social media content specific to emerging social platforms. The intern will identify innovative content styles, conduct platform research, and create a series of educational and entertaining social media posts.
By using their research skills and understanding of platform trends, this position plays an important role in contributing to TNC’s global social media strategy.
Global Storytelling Intern, Protect Oceans, Lands and Water (GMC)
The Global Storytelling Intern will be responsible for researching and writing content that showcases Protect Oceans, Lands and Waters strategies and the people who make conservation possible. The Intern will do research, conduct interviews and write/edit original profiles that feature regional examples of conservation, science and partnership and engage audiences around the world.
Production Design Intern (BSO)
The Production Design Intern will be responsible for supporting the Creative Operations and Production team by providing design and production support to establish and reinforce consistent design standards, document creative guidelines and processes, and deliver best in class print products to internal TNC clients.
International Activation Intern (GMC)
The Intern will be working with the Global Marketing and Communications team by supporting the development of conservation projects that could help TNC learn about and more deeply engage with diverse audiences around the world.
Multimedia Content Creator (Storytelling)
The Intern will work on the Editorial & Content team to support editing and creating social media videos and basic graphics for TNC social channels. Responsibilities may include re-cutting stories from existing content, creating basic graphics for thumbnails or social posts, writing performance-driven copy, and supporting other content creation within TNC’s social content strategy. Responsibilities may also include backend project and subject interview coordination, concept creation, analytics review, and story and keyword research.
