As the school year comes to an end, QUEST proudly welcomes the dynamic new cohorts, 41 and 42, made up of 90 new eager students ready to embark on their QUEST journeys! QUESTPress had the thrill of interviewing three incoming students to learn what they’re looking forward to in their QUEST journeys.
Elizabeth Ipe is a Computer Science major from North Potomac, MD and is in Cohort 41! She applied for QUEST because she felt that QUEST allows the opportunity to take practical classes that will help her train for future projects and work with real-life clients. Ipe shared how she hopes it will help her “learn how to work with diverse groups of people who are just as passionate as [her] about accomplishing their goals!” In the future, she hopes to be a software engineer or project manager, and we know QUEST will help her achieve these goals.
Next, we have Rhea Chandragiri who is a Computer Science major from New Jersey! Chandragiri is a part of Cohort 42 and excited for QUEST because it “offers students the incredible opportunity to not only develop technical and interpersonal skills on campus but also put them to use by solving a real-world project.” Furthermore, she loves the opportunities QUEST gives to meet and work with people of different backgrounds and majors and is excited to work with QUEST companies in her classes, especially those in the DMV area. With her degree, she hopes to pursue something tech-related and hopes QUEST will help her understand what she wants to do in the future.
And finally, Jack Karakashian is an Accounting and Finance major from Rockville, MD! As a member of Cohort 42, he is excited to join QUEST to learn skills essential to the business world, work with students of other majors, and interact with QUEST’s alumni network. On campus, he is a part of the Accounting and Business Association and the Sports Business Society. With his degree, he hopes to pursue something in entrepreneurship, either in the sports or tech field.
Overall, we are super excited to introduce 90 new students in Cohorts 41 and 42 to QUEST! After a year of QUEST classes, I can only allude to how great they are for making friends and building professional skills, and I cannot wait to see these new QUESTees take them!
The full list of newly admitted students is below. Congrats to all!
