A joint effort to develop close to the theoretical limit ultra-low-energy programmable non-volatile silicon photonics based on phase-change materials with graphene heaters has been published in Nature Nano!

This effort continued work that started two years ago by demonstrating a device switching phase change materials with graphene microheaters. (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/adpr.202000034)
