Trump, the megalomaniac, as CEO of TRUMPUSA

Trump is a megalomaniac.  The Cambridge English Dictionary explains the difference between an egomaniac and a megalomaniac.

“We also use the word megalomaniac more informally for people who behave as if they’re convinced of their absolute power and greatness. Your garden-variety egomaniac might be self-centered and overconfident but he’s a little softy compared with the megalomaniac who wants to control the world.”

This is Trump to a tee   He is “convinced of his absolute power and greatness.”  He thinks he knows best on almost every issue that comes up and now he has the power to promote his views around the world.

Trump thinks of our country as his personal business enterprise – he’s CEO of TRUMPUSA!

So in the news the other day were 3 stories – how he was threatening 50% tariffs on Europe, putting a 25% tariff on Apple products if they didn’t manufacture their iphones in the US, and stopping international students from attending Harvard University.

Each of these moves by Trump is exploring how much power his Imperial Presidency has in the US and globally: go after Europe like he went after Canada and Mexico, control universities, cozy up to Putin (I still think Putin is blackmailing him),  close down much of the federal government, market his crypto schemes, build a resort in Gaza, take over Greenland and Canada, make himself culture czar by taking over Kennedy Center, arrest students and kick them out of the country, round up people to deport without any due process, and so much more!

Trump really is a “megalomaniac who wants to control the world!”

  1. He is also a child-like man who only understands threat as a way to get what he wants, and is an egomaniac. What a dangerous mix!
