USG Human Resources would like to welcome Nitshu Joshi as the newest member of the HR team. She joins us an HR Assistant. She is a former student and former student employee of the Universities at Shady Grove (USG). Nitshu earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UMBC at USG, followed by a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. While earning her bachelor’s degree, she began working as a student employee at the Priddy Library and continued working there for more than two years providing circulation services to students and faculty members. During her master’s program, she began working as a graduate assistant for UMBC at USG assisting faculty and staff with various administrative projects. She was also a recipient of the Camille Kendall Academic Achievement Award in 2011, and served as the Guided Study Session Leader for an undergraduate Psychology course in 2010-2011 at USG.
Upon completing her master’s, Nitshu worked as an HR Analyst for CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield assisting with Affirmative Action. She has always considered the Universities at Shady Grove as her second home and as an HR Assistant is happy to assist all staff members with HR inquiries.
In her spare time, Nitshu enjoys watching movies, shopping, traveling and lots of Chuck E Cheese visits with her little son.
Please feel free to contact Nitshu to assist you with any administrative questions you may have.
