Flexible Spending Accounts

Although Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) are being managed by P&A Group starting in 2017, you may still have money left in your 2016 FSA, which is still managed by Connect Your Care. If you do not use the money remaining in your account by the deadline date, you will forfeit the money (i.e. “use or lose”).

You have until the end of the March 15, 2017 grace period to incur eligible expenses for your Health Care FSA.  You can submit those claims through April 15, 2017 (as long as they were incurred prior to March 15). Dependent Day Care FSAs do not have a grace period, and expenses must have been incurred before December 31, 2016.

Make sure you are submitting your claims to the right company: Connect Your Care for 2016 funds, P&A Group for 2017 funds.
