Due to the 2017 Tax Reform Legislation, you will see some changes on your paycheck effective 01/26/2018. These changes are because the IRS has adjusted the federal tax tables. Consequently, your federal tax deduction may change depending upon your tax bracket and status, i.e., single, married, and married, but withholding at the single rate.
Based on this information, should you decide to make changes to your current federal tax deductions, please complete the attached 2017 W-4, Employee Withholding Allowance Certificate form and submit to the Office of Human Resources. Since the 2018 W-4, Employee Withholding Allowance Certificate has not been released yet, until further notice, you may use the attached 2017 W-4, Employee Withholding Allowance Certificate to change your federal tax deductions.
For any questions or concerns, please contact your USG HR Team.
