Welcome to the Laboratory for Radiation and Polymer Science

The Laboratory for Radiation and Polymer Science is led by Professor Mohamad Al-Sheikhly at the University of Maryland, College Park. Our group is dedicated to exploring the effects of radiation on materials and the study of polymers. In order to perform this research we work in close collaboration with a number of other institutions including The Catholic University of America, The National Institute of Standards and Technology, The University of Texas, Austin, among others.  Please see our research and publications page for more information about our group and its current research projects.
