Abstract:

Antisemitism has been on the rise again. Antisemitic worldviews have been developed over thousands of years. They have been reformulated again and again. Today, antisemitism can be related to religious, nationalistic, or political views. It can even be formulated in the language of human rights. This makes it often difficult to address, because some forms of antisemitism are very close to home. In my presentation I will go over recent trends and statistics of antisemitic incidents and discuss some of the main ideological sources.
