Investigative Interns spend at least 12 weeks at one of the most prestigious Public Defender offices in the nation. Our Interns don’t just sit in the office all day copying files. Partnered together, Interns work directly with Staff Attorneys and Investigative Specialists to complete various investigative tasks and zealously advocate for their clients.

The Montgomery County Family Justice Center is hiring for three different internship positions for the spring and summer semesters: Legal Services Intern, Domestic Violence Prevention Programs Intern, and Client Services Intern. The mission of the Montgomery County Family Justice Center is to promote safety, wellness and healing for victims of intimate partner domestic violence. The center, under the auspices of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, serves as the central hub for domestic violence services in the county, serving more than 1,500 individuals per year.

Paid Summer Research Opportunities Through MPower |
MPower is offering paid research opportunities in a variety of fields available exclusively for University of Maryland College Park undergraduate and graduate students. In-person, hybrid, and remote positions are located at the University of Maryland, Baltimore in Summer 2024. Final application deadline is February 25, 2024. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so applying early increases the probability of an award. |
