The Paralegal / Intake Coordinator is a critical member of the ACLU-DC Legal Department and contributes to the team’s efforts through two primary functions: (1) providing litigation support (20-30% of the work) and (2) managing the legal intake process (70-80% of the work), which includes logging and tracking all intake, interviewing potential clients, investigating potential cases, and making recommendations to the Legal Department regarding which potential clients to represent and which to refer to other organizations.
