The Bethany Beach Police Department is still taking applications for summer 2025 Seasonal Police Officers. I am reaching out to college professors and department chairs to inform them of an exciting employment opportunity for their students. Every year, my agency hires approximately 17 young men and women who want to gain hands on experience as police officers. These individuals perform basic law enforcement duties under supervision during the summer months (May-Sept).  While doing so, my agency mentors them, trains them and works with them to gain internship requirements if needed. In return, their employment helps our town provide more boots on the ground for the safety of our visitors and residents during the summer beach season.

The Uniformed Division’s mission is to protect facilities and venues secured for U.S. Secret Service protectees. Throughout its history, the Uniformed Division has accomplished this mission through a tradition of honor, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. Today, the Uniformed Division has grown both in size and scope of responsibility and is mandated by law to provide physical security for the White House Complex and the vice president’s residence at the Naval Observatory. It also provides security for the Treasury Department building and foreign diplomatic missions in Washington, D.C.

Immigration Paralegal Client Advocate, Juvenile Rights Trial Office | The Legal Aid Society

The Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Practice is seeking an experienced Paralegal Client Advocate to work on immigration needs for Juvenile Rights clients. The Paralegal Client Advocate (PCA) is part of an interdisciplinary team of lawyers, social workers, and other supporting roles that will work on the legal representation of children, ages 0 to 21 years, who are before NYC family courts on child protective, PINS (Persons-In-Need-of-Supervision), juvenile delinquency, and termination of parental rights petitions. The PCA will handle citywide immigration matters with an interdisciplinary team.
