The Pre-Law Advising Office is located in 0110 Hornbake Library South and open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Law School Fair |
The Law School Fair offers a unique opportunity for students and alumni considering law school to meet face-to-face with representatives from law school admissions offices across the country. Over 100 law schools typically attend this event. Suggested attire for this event is business casual. Register on Handshake! The University of Maryland’s Pre-Law Advising Office is partnering with the University Career Center & The President’s Promise to present the annual UMD Law School Fair on Wednesday, October 15, 2025from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Stamp Student Union. This event is open to University of Maryland, College Park students & alumni, as well as other students in the Washington, DC region.Click ‘Follow’ or ‘Join Event’ (above) to receive updates about the event! FAIR DETAILS Registration in advance is NOT required. If you are having trouble registering on Handshake please don’t worry, come anyway! Attendees may visit the Fair anytime between 11:00am and 2:00pm. Attendees will sign-in upon arrival. Outside visitors parking on campus must utilize Visitor Parking. Find more information about Visitor Parking at UMD DOTS. Tips and recommendations will be sent out by the Pre-Law Advising Office the week before the ACCOMMODATION & ACCESSIBILITY The University Career Center & the President’s Promise is committed to creating and maintaining an accessible and inclusive fair experience for all students.
