About the Role:

• Provides on call crisis intervention, safety assessment and referrals to identified victims of domestic violence and other abuses upon referral from hospital units during non-program hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides safety assessment, domestic violence and other abuses education and emotional support to identified victims.
• Formulates safety plan with victim and provides resources.
• Communicates with medical staff regarding victim’s disposition and regarding referrals.

Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma/GED preferred
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience with domestic violence and other abuse victims preferred
