Fall 2019 Class Registration is Approaching!
As you all have now registered for classes at your host institution, remember to look back at your Course Pre-Approval form that you completed in the Fall (you can view a copy on your myEA account). Is there a course that you are registered for that is not on that form? IT’S OK! But you need to get approval from your academic advisor before we’ll be able to transfer in those credits.
- Email your academic advisor with the additional course(s) that you would like to transfer from your host institution, even if the course has already been approved and is on the course equivalency spreadsheet. Include any syllabus or description if the course has not already been approved.
- Once your academic advisor emails the approval back to you, forward that email to Greg Rafal. If approved, your course approval form will be updated and your exchange credits will transfer.
Additional Reminders from the Undergraduate Office:
- Consult the degree requirements/four-year plan for your major(s) to ensure that you’re on track
- Look through the Fall 2019 Schedule of Classes and pick first-choice classes for your schedule as well as backup options in case your first choices are full
- Double check that the courses that you are registered for at your host university were pre-approved on your Course Pre-Approval form
- If you are interested in applying in the spring to any of the Fellows programs, make sure you are registering/completing any necessary prerequisites for that specific program
- Utilize CourseOff: a web application that works with the schedule of classes to help you visualize your schedule and share it with friends
- If you have any additional questions for your advisor, you are welcome to schedule an appointment; just be sure to mention that you are abroad so your advisor can accommodate accordingly
