Welcome Dinner at Famous Peking Duck

By: Ja’Nel Edens, MBA Candidate 2018

After our first series of meetings, we gathered together for our welcome dinner. Hosted at the world-famous Peking Duck, was an evening filled with live entertainment which included dance, magic and acrobatic performances.

While viewing live acts, food and drinks were served. Preceding dinner were about 5-8 appetizers, including both cold and warm dishes such as shrimp, chicken feet, lamb, beef, vegetables and mushrooms. The grand finale was duck!

As done traditionally, we rolled up duck meat and sauce into a pancake and ate away.

Rice was served toward the end of dinner and was lightly consumed.

Overall, Peking Duck was a wonderful way to end our first day.
