The ACES Minor has opened applications for the 2024-2025 academic year!
The ACES Minor is a 16-credit academic minor open to students of all majors, who have achieved a 3.2 cumulative GPA, have completed 30 university credits, and have at least three semesters remaining at UMD, post-Fall 2024.
Students gain practical skills in cybersecurity through technical and non-technical coursework, group projects, internships and research opportunities.
This curriculum is bolstered by regular interactions with cybersecurity industry leaders both in the private and public sector who serve as mentors and professional networks for ACES Minor students.
The ACES Minor is also an Upper Level Concentration for Computer Science students!
Students can submit the application via the ACES website at aces.umd.edu. Applications are due October 20, 2024.
