The College of Arts and Humanities, School of Public Health, and the Harriet Tubman Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies is excited to announce we have teamed up to present Careers in Humanities and Health: Interdisciplinary Pathways on November 14th at 12pm.

Have you wondered how the humanities or a WGSS education can prepare you for a career in Health or Medicine? This online panel includes UMD alums of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Programs who also have degrees in English, Psychology, and Family Science and have gone on to study and work in fields of Epidemiology, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Counseling, and Family Science.

We are pleased to announce they will be joined by Associate Professor Typhanye Vielka Dyer, of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, in the School of Public Health; and an Affiliate Faculty member of the Harriet Tubman Department of Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies.
