An exciting opportunity is upcoming in which students can engage directly with staff from the U.S. House of Representatives this Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the University Career Center (Hornbake Library, South Wing, Multi-purpose Resource Room – 3135).
1:1 Career Chats | 10 am – 12 pm, 1 – 3 pm
Students can sign up for a 20-minute one-on-one session with House staff to:
- Ask career-related questions
- Get a resume review
- Practice interviewing skills
This is a first-come, first-served opportunity, so students are encouraged to take advantage of this direct engagement.

Following the one-on-one chats, students are invited to attend “Career Opportunities with the U.S. House of Representatives”
Join the House Office of Talent and Development, with the Chief Administrative Officer under the U.S. House of Representatives, for an overview of:
- Different career avenues available with Congress
- Resources to support job seekers looking to work on the Hill
