United Therapeutics is offering a paid, full-time Summer 2025 internship in its Government Affairs department. This opportunity provides students with hands-on experience in policy research, advocacy, and regulatory affairs within the biotech industry. Interns will work alongside professionals in various departments to engage with government entities, support legislative tracking, and contribute to policy development efforts. The internship offers a competitive hourly wage, with relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis. United Therapeutics is seeking junior or senior students (but don’t shy away if you are a sophomore) enrolled in an accredited college program, with a strong interest in government affairs, policy, and healthcare. Applicants should possess excellent research, analytical, and communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Majors in Political Science, Natural Sciences, Economics, History, Pre-Law, or related fields are preferred, though other majors are also welcome. Prior experience in government affairs or a related field is a plus.
The program will run from May 19 to August 15, 2025, at the Silver Spring, Maryland location.
