COMBINE (Computation and Mathematics for Biological Networks) is an NSF Research Traineeship (NRT) program at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD). The program utilizes a network-based, data-driven approach, focusing on how interaction patterns can give insights into complex biological phenomena. Students are drawn from UMD PhD programs in the life sciences, physical/mathematical sciences, and computational/engineering sciences.

The 2021 COMBINE Symposium will include two keynote presentations from researchers working at the forefront of network biology. In addition, a poster session will showcase the work of COMBINE Fellows. This event is an opportunity to learn more about network biology research work being done at UMD and elsewhere, and connect with researchers across various disciplines.

Schedule (Eastern Time): All events on Zoom except for poster session at gather.town
