Schwarzman Scholars is a one-year, fully-funded master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, designed to build a global community of future leaders who will serve to deepen understanding between China and the rest of the world.

The experience encompasses unparalleled opportunities in and outside the classroom, including extensive leadership training, a network of senior mentors, optional internships, career development, and travel seminars around China. 

Schwarzman Scholars prepares young leaders for a world where China plays a vital role. Scholars learn from world-class faculty and guest speakers about the emergence of China as an economic and political force through a rigorous and dynamic core curriculum.

Eligibility: a) To apply for Schwarzman Scholarships beginning autumn 2026, candidates must receive your undergraduate degree no later than spring 2026. b) Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year (for the Class of 2026-2027, as of August 1, 2026). c) Applicants must demonstrate strong English skills, as all teaching will be conducted in English. For complete eligibility information click here.
