Choose one of the following options:

1)    Discuss the ways in which different times and spaces overlap in Bolaño’s novel. What are the connections among this element of the novel’s structure, 1968, and transnationalism?

2)    Compare Jameson’s analysis with other theorists we’ve read this semester. How does his discussion of “third-world literature” contribute to or depart from our ongoing discussion of transnationalism?
