Choose one of the following options:

1) This week’s assigned readings address various universalizing and particularizing conceptions of feminism. Do you think transnationalism as an analytical frame more effectively supports universalizing visions of feminism or particularizing ones? Respond to this question by referring to at least two of this week’s assigned readings.

2) How do digital platforms impact the production of knowledge? Consider both the content of Raval’s article about Wikipedia as well as its form (i.e. its publication in an open-access, open-peer-reviewed online journal).

3) With reference to Grewal and Kaplan, discuss how politics are implicated in the formation of sexual subjectivities. Consider national and transnational dimensions/examples of the production and regulation of sexuality.
